GARDEN OF LUNGS

Du und deine Lieblingspflanze seid eingeladen zu einem Konzert im Klanggarten der LICHTHOF Theater Probebühne. Bring eine Topfpflanze mit, gestalte mit ihr die Bühne unseres Konzertgartens und lass sie zum Musikinstrument werden.

In einem Mix aus Wohnzimmeratmospähre und industriellem Gewächshaus taucht ihr ein in die Geschichte und den Alltag des Viertels zwischen Karoviertel, BUNKER, Messe, alten Schlachthöfen und Planten und Blomen (Segment D). In musikalischen Szenen aus klassischer Musik, elektronischen Klängen und vokaler Improvisation bewegt sich die Sängerin Lissa Meybohm gemeinsam mit KreaStart, Anwohnenden und Schüler:innen der Nelson-Mandela-Schule an der Schnittstelle zwischen trubeligem Alltag und Ruhepolen zum Durchatmen und Träumen.

Übrigens: Das Konzert ist Teil des TONALi-Festivals. Und in diesem gibt es viel zu erleben – weitere Konzerte, die die Sounds der Viertel einfangen, sich mit aktuellen Zeitfragen auseinandersetzen und die Grenzen des herkömmlichen Kunstbegriffs ausloten.

You and your favourite plant are invited to a concert in the sound garden of the Lichthof-Theater-Probebühne. Bring a potted plant, design the stage of our concert garden with it and let it become a musical instrument.

In a mix of living room atmosphere and industrial greenhouse, immerse yourself in the history and everyday life of the neighbourhood between Karoviertel, BUNER, Messe, old slaughterhouses and Planten und Blomen (Segment D). In musical scenes of classical music, electronic sounds and vocal improvisation, the singer Lissa Meybohm moves together with KreaStart, residents and pupils of the Nelson Mandela School at the interface between the hustle and bustle of everyday life and places of peace to take a deep breath and dream.

By the way: the concert is part of the TONALi festival. And there is a lot to experience in this festival – more concerts that capture the sounds of the neighbourhoods, deal with current issues and explore the boundaries of the conventional concept of art.
