„Ich starb am 24. Februar diesen Jahres, zwischen 4 und 5 Uhr morgens, gemeinsam mit 40 Millionen weiteren Ukrainer:innen.“ Trotzdem hat sie es wieder auf die Bühne geschafft, und mit ihr acht weitere Kolleg:innen des deutsch-ukrainischen Künstler:innennetzwerks under construction, dessen Beteiligte sich seit mehreren Jahren kennen und die der Krieg nun im Juli diesen Jahres als Ensemble auf Zeit in Hamburg zusammengebracht hat. Auf der Bühne verhandeln sie die Geschichten dieses Krieges – verschiedene Schicksale, Wahrnehmungen, Entscheidungen, aber auch Theaterpraktiken kommen hier zusammen.

„Kann man das so auf der Bühne zeigen?“ – „Aber wenn es doch die Wahrheit ist?.“ – „Sollten wir nicht eine mildere Übersetzung dafür finden?“ – „Diese Dinge passieren jetzt, genau zu diesem Augenblick, genau so, in aller Härte, noch viel härter, als wir es hier zeigen können und wollen.“

Aus multinationaler Perspektive wird diese neue Wahrheit betrachtet – auch, wenn sie „sensitive content“ geworden ist und erst bestätigt werden muss, bevor sie gezeigt werden darf.

Im Anschluss an die Vorstellung ist das Publikum zum Gespräch eingeladen.

“I died on February 24 this year, between 4 and 5 A.M., along with 40 million other Ukrainians.” 

Nevertheless, she made it back onto the stage. And she was not the only one: eight artists of the German-Ukrainian creative association “UNDER CONSTRUCTION”, by the will of fate, have been in Hamburg, and they also wanted to be heard, wanted to put their bodies, voices, and souls on the stage to resist evil through the space of culture and art. They have known each other for several years, and since July, having been united in a summer creative residence, they have been looking for a language, a sound that will help them express themselves. But now they are not ready just to talk. They are ready to shout.

On stage, they share with you the stories of this war: different destinies, angles of perception, decisions made, as well as different schools of acting and work styles – all this is woven together at one time, in one place.

«Is it possible to show it on stage in this way?» – «How else, when all this is true?» – «Shouldn’t we find a softer stage solution?» – «These are the things that are happening right now, at this very moment, exactly like this, in all their brutality and horror, much more ugly than we are able and would like to convey here on the space».

This is the new truth, viewed through a multinational prism – and this is a fact, even if it has become «sensitive content» for you, where you first must to have the courage to click the «see» button.

«Я померла 24 Лютого цього року, між 4:00 та 5:00 годинами ранку, разом із 40 мільйонами інших українців».

Незважаючи на це, вона повернулася на сцену. І опинилася на ній не сама: вісім митців Німецько-Українського творчого об’єднання «under construction», за волею долі, опинилися в Гамбурзі, і так само захотіли бути почутими, захотіли покласти свої тіла, голоси, та душі на вівтар сцени, щоб протистояти злу через простір культури і мистецтва. Вони знають один одного вже кілька років, і з Липня, бувши об’єднаними у літню творчу резиденцію, вони шукали мову, звук, який допоможе їм висловитися. Але зараз вони не готові просто говорити. Вони готові кричати.

На сцені вони діляться з вами історіями цієї війни: різні долі, кути сприйняття, прийняті рішення, а також різні школи акторської майстерності та стилі роботи – все це сплітається воєдино в один час, в одному місці.

«Чи можливо показати це на сцені саме таким чином?» – «А як інакше, коли все це – правда?» – «Чи не повинні ми знайти більш м’яке сценічне рішення?» – «Це ті речі, які відбуваються прямо зараз, саме в цей момент, саме так, в усій своїй жорстокості та жаху, набагато більш потворні, ніж ми здатні й хотіли б передати це тут, на майданчику».

Це – нова правда, що розглядається через мультинаціональну призму – і це факт, навіть якщо це стало для вас «потенційно неприйнятним контентом», де спочатку ви повинні зважитися на те, щоб натиснути кнопку «подивитися».
